Homesteading, in reality, is the art of embracing our roots, rediscovering our relationship with the land, and nurturing a life that's both fulfilling and meaningful. It's a journey of self-discovery, a path that leads us back to simplicity. Lastly, it's a celebration of the beauty that can be found in the most basic things."

Our Critters

Champgne D'Argent Buck close up

We specialize in raising Champagne D’Argent and Standard Rex rabbits. These beautiful breeds are the heart and soul of our operation. Ultimately provide us with not only tender and flavorful meat, but also outstanding pelts.

White Nigerian Dwarf in Pasture Pennsylvania Farm

Our farm is home to Mini Silky Fainters, Fainters, and Nigerian Dwarfs. Our charming fainters never fail to put a smile on everyone’s face, while our Dwarfs  provide us with the highest quality milk for all of our homesteading needs.

The farm relies on the incredible protection and companionship of Great Pyrenees and Akbash livestock guardian dogs.  Because they are bred to ensure the security of our farm, goats, and rabbits, we couldn’t farm without them!

Buns with Purpose

Heather’s passion for rabbits started at a young age, as a member of a local 4-H club in Alaska, during which she showed Silver Fox and Champagne D’Argents. For this reason, and many more, we have worked hard to obtain and breed the highest caliber rabbits in each of our three chosen breeds.

We put an emphasis on providing a happy, quality life for our rabbits and breeding to improve and preserve each breed. In essence, our rabbits are multi-purpose here on the farm- from top performing show rabbits to tasty meat rabbits with high quality pelts. All in all, we frequently have kits, JR’s and SR’s available.

Goats n Pastures

Our herd consists of Miniature Silky Fainter Goats, Nigerian Dwarfs and Fainters. They are a wild bunch full of mischief, curiosity, and sass. Consequently, they'll do just about anything for a treat.

Chiefly, our goats were meant to be land clearing pets. We started with two fainters, Frosty and Stumpy. Thereafter, we quickly fell in love with their personalities, and in truth, their fainting. As a result we have expanded our herd to include Nigerians and most recently, Mini Silky Fainters, which we milk to make our own cheese, soaps, butter and of course- milk!

We have a limited number of kids available each year as we generally retain goats that fit our breeding goals each year for our farm in New York.
