Whether you’re coming to chase a blue ribbon, give your horse some show-ring experience, or just spend the day with good horses and good people, we’d love to have you join us for our first horse show!

All breeds and riding levels welcome.

About the Show

Our shows are designed to be fun, affordable, and welcoming while still giving riders the opportunity to gain real show-ring experience.

We welcome seasoned competitors, first-time exhibitors, lesson students, kids, adults, and everyone in between.

The day will feature English and Western classes beginning at 9:00 AM, followed by an evening game show for riders who want to stick around and have some fun!

We’re currently accepting sponsors for our October 3rd Horse Show in Mexico, New York! Local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals are invited to help us make our very first show a success.

Sponsorship opportunities include individual classes, divisions, general show contributions, and prize donations. Sponsors will receive recognition for their support throughout the event, in online advertisements, and have their banners hung at the arena.

Even better, we’re riding for a cause! 💗 10% of show proceeds will be donated to the Saint Agatha Foundation, helping support breast cancer patients right here in Central New York.

FAQ & Rules

Classes are $5 per entry, cash only for our first show!

Leadline: Ages 7 & under
Youth: Ages 17 & under
Adult: Ages 18 & over

Classes marked Open or All Ages are open to riders of any age unless otherwise noted.

All horses must have a current negative Coggins and proof of current rabies vaccination. Please bring documentation with you on the day of the show. Documentation will be checked upon entry.

No. Stallions and stud colts are not permitted at the show. 

Yes. All riders must have a completed liability release on file before participating. A parent or legal guardian must complete the required release for riders under 18.

No membership dues! Simply pay for each class you enter.

Designated warm-up areas will be available in our indoor and outdoor arenas. 

To respect the privacy of our boarders and keep the show running safely, show guests and their horses must remain within designated show, parking, trail and warm-up areas. Barns are off limits to non boarders/ current clients.

Yes, we will have water bucket filling stations.

Yes, after signing a liability release you may stay in the designated riding fields and on designated riding trails (maps will be posted.)

Yes! Leadline riders may enter Youth classes, and Youth riders may enter Adult classes when appropriate for their riding level.

Yes. All horses must be supervised at all times. Please do not leave horses unattended in show areas, tied to trailers, or elsewhere on the property.

Owners and handlers are responsible for maintaining control of their horses throughout the event.

No. Dogs are not permitted at the horse show, including leashed dogs. Please leave pets safely at home.

Please clean up after yourself and your horse. Dispose of trash in designated containers and clean up manure, hay, and other debris from your trailer/parking area before leaving.

This is our very first horse show, and while we’re working hard to make it a great experience, we also know there will be things we can learn and improve along the way.

We welcome your feedback! If there’s something you loved, something we could do better, or something you’d like to see at a future show, please let us know. Our goal is to make each show better than the last.

Yes. In accordance with New York State law, all riders under 18 years of age are required to wear a properly fitted and securely fastened ASTM/SEI-certified equestrian helmet while mounted.

Riders 18 and older are strongly encouraged to wear a helmet but may ride without one unless a particular class or activity requires otherwise.

Good sportsmanship is expected from all riders and guests. Please respect the judge, staff, volunteers, other competitors, and horses. The judge’s decisions are final.

A walk-and-stop-only class. Riders will be asked to walk and demonstrate a controlled “whoa.” No trotting or cantering.

Traditional show attire is encouraged but not required. Clean, safe, discipline-appropriate riding attire and footwear are required.

Horse welfare comes first. Abuse will not be tolerated, and horses that appear lame, injured, ill, or unfit to compete may be excused by the judge or show management.

No alcohol or illegal/recreational drugs are permitted on show grounds. Anyone appearing impaired may be asked to leave.

No refunds will be given for missed or scratched classes. Exhibitors are responsible for being ready when their class is called.

Custom ribbons will be awarded 1st-3rd in each class. Divisional ribbons will also be awarded for Leadline, Western Youth, Western Adult, English Youth, English Adult, Game Show Leadline, Game Show Youth, and Game Show Adult.
